Riverview Shooting; Riverview Elementary School on lockdown
Riverview Elementary School in Painesville has been placed under lockdown following an incident outside the school building. Lake County Sheriff Frank Leonbruno confirmed that students and staff are safe inside, and a person is currently in custody related to the incident.
The Lake County Sheriff’s Office, along with other law enforcement agencies, is actively investigating the scene. Madison Avenue has been closed, and authorities are asking the public to avoid the area.
