A store owner in Fall River has announced her decision to retire after decades of serving the community.

Nelly Silva, who has operated Nelly’s Boutique at 1376 Pleasant Street for 46 years, plans to retire in 2025. While she will miss her loyal customers, many of whom have become friends, she has put the business up for sale. Silva has expressed her commitment to training the buyer and guiding them through the transition.

The asking price for the business, which includes inventory, is $100,000.

Nelly’s Boutique specializes in clothing for Christening and First Communion for boys and girls, as well as special occasion attire, women’s clothing, and Portuguese gold jewelry.
