Arthur Scena Car Accident Warminster Township: The Phoenixville Police Department announced on Monday that Officer Arthur Scena IV was tragically killed in a car accident in Warminster Township, Bucks County, on Sunday night.
According to Phoenixville Mayor Urscheler, the collision occurred near the Dunkin’ Donuts at the intersection of Street Road and St. David’s.
Officer Scena joined the Phoenixville Police Department in 2019, having previously served as an officer with the Chester City Police Department, a correctional officer at Montgomery County Prison, and a police officer for the Philadelphia Housing Authority.
Phoenixville Police Department Statement:
“It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the loss of one of our own. Officer Arthur Scena IV was tragically killed in a vehicular crash in Warminster Township, Bucks County.”
Born in Abington and raised in Elkins Park, PA, Officer Scena graduated from Cheltenham High School and Montgomery County Community College before attending the Montgomery County Police Academy in 2010.
Prior to joining the Phoenixville Police Department, he served as a correctional officer at Montgomery County Prison and worked as a police officer for both the Philadelphia Housing Authority and the Chester City Police Department.
Officer Scena is survived by his wife, Amanda; stepdaughter, Riley; and daughter, Reece. The department urges everyone to keep his family, friends, and colleagues in their thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

He served as a patrolman for the Philadelphia Housing Authority, Chester Police Department, and, most recently, the residents of Phoenixville. His dedication extended beyond his professional responsibilities; he was a passionate member of the Bullet’s Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club, where he often organized memorial rides and benefits for fallen law enforcement officers.
