Menno Eicher identified as the Fairland man Passed Away in motorcycle crash
A tragic motorcycle accident claimed the life of 24-year-old Menno Eicher, a resident of Fairland, on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. The crash occurred around 11:13 p.m., approximately 1.5 miles south of Wyandotte in Ottawa County.
Eicher was riding his Kawasaki motorcycle along South 642 Road when the fatal incident took place. He was immediately transported to Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri, but despite the efforts of medical staff, Eicher sadly succumbed to his injuries.
Preliminary reports confirm that Eicher was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, though the cause of the accident remains under investigation. Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Gibe, along with local authorities, is leading the ongoing investigation to determine the factors contributing to the tragic incident.
