Hank Parker Treestand Car Accident: Prayers are being called for the family of legendary bass fisherman Hank Parker, host of “Hank Parker’s Outdoor Magazine,” who was transported by air ambulance to the hospital after a fall while deer hunting on Friday.
Reports indicate that Hank accidentally slipped and fell approximately thirty feet from a tree stand. He was rushed to the hospital in stable condition. His family released a statement: “Today was a close call for our guy Hank Parker. He fell 30 feet from a tree stand and was life-flighted to the hospital. Several hours after the incident, Hank’s family announced that he had successfully undergone surgery and was recovering well. Later that evening, Hank expressed his gratitude for the outpouring of support: “Thank you all for your text messages and support!! I will be okay; this is the story of what happened.”
He was released from the hospital a few hours later and thanked his family, friends, and community for their prayers. Hank recounted that he fell from the tree and landed on his back, but fortunately, there were no broken bones. “I thought I broke my neck; my head is in a lot of pain,” he shared, “but I’m okay. I’ve got great friends.”
