Tragedy struck Wapello County, Iowa, on Friday when a fatal collision between a motorcycle and a pickup truck claimed the lives of two men. The Iowa State Patrol identified the victims as 29-year-old Dustin West, the motorcyclist, and 45-year-old Billy Skinner, the driver of the pickup truck.

The crash occurred around 4:54 p.m. near the intersection of Bladensburg Road and Agency-Hendrick Road. Authorities reported that West was traveling southbound on Agency-Hendrick Road, while Skinner was heading northbound in his truck. The collision happened when Skinner made a westbound turn, leading to the motorcycle crashing into the truck.

Both West and Skinner were pronounced dead at the scene, with the Iowa State Patrol and local emergency services, including Ottumwa EMS, Wapello County Rural Fire, and the Wapello County Sheriff’s Office, responding to the incident.
