Irvidas Juškys of King’s Lynn, United Kingdom, passed away tragically on the evening of October 24, leaving his community heartbroken. Known for his adventurous spirit and zest for life, Juškys lost his life in a car accident that has deeply impacted those who knew him. The crash occurred shortly after 6:15 PM on the A1307 near Swavesey, where Juškys, driving a black MG HS, collided with a white Audi A6 driven by a man in his 60s.
Despite the swift response of emergency personnel, Juškys was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Audi was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, where he remains in critical but stable condition.
Following the accident, the road was closed for several hours as authorities conducted a thorough investigation. The A1307 reopened in the early hours of October 25. Cambridgeshire Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen the vehicles before the collision or witnessed the crash to assist the Serious Collision Investigation Unit.
