The crash involved 17-year-old Sean Fader, a resident of Oswego, Illinois.

According to preliminary investigations, Sean’s vehicle was heading southbound on Minkler Road when it veered off the roadway and struck a tree. The impact caused the car to catch fire, and despite the immediate response from emergency services, Sean, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene due to the severity of the crash and fire.
